Julie is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Society of Urological Nurses Association. the American Urogynecologic Society Patient Advisory Group, International Urologynecologic Society, Missouri Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Missouri Coalition for Nurses in Advanced Practice, Midwest Nursing Research Society, and Urogynecology for the Advance Practice Provider. She has over 15 years experience treating women with symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction.
She grew up in Jefferson City, MO. Julie attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she received her Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in Nursing.
Julie is also a clinical researcher with an interest in the use of pelvic floor biofeedback in treating women with pelvic floor disorders; including bladder and bowel control symptoms, pelvic pain, sexual pain and pelvic organ prolapse. She speaks internationally on pelvic floor disorders and is considered a leading expert in her field.
